Valencia CF Women’s team announces the signing of defender Lena Pérez for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2027.
Lena, born in Chiva (Valencia) on December 27, 1995, is a central defender with extensive experience, arriving from Villarreal CF.
The defender played for Levante UD’s reserve team (2014-2021), the club with which she made her debut in the first division. Subsequently, Pérez signed with Alhama CF (2021-24), where she achieved promotion to Liga F, being a key player in the 2021-22 season, and appeared in 27 matches in Spain’s top women’s football league.
The Valencian is an experienced defender in her position. She is characterized by her excellent aerial ability, both in attack and defense; her defensive rigor, with great positioning and anticipation; and her offensive contribution, with a strong ability to score goals from defense during set pieces.
Lena Pérez: “Being from Valencia and representing the colors of such a historic club as Valencia CF is a pride and a responsibility. I can’t wait for the season to start and to give my best to help the team return this badge to where it belongs, in the first division.”
